This years fundraiser has come to an end and what a Great time it was. Dream Walkers mailed out 53 Dreamcatchers this year. A very Special Thank you to ALL of you who participated. We appreciate your kind hearts and we know that your generousity has helped alot of people this Holiday Season. Happy Holidays to you and yours God Bless and we look forward to our next project :)
Dream Walkers was created by the Members of Lone Oak. As a group we have decided to do everything we can to help animals and humans alike with the resources and knowledge that we have.
With todays economy the future looks rather bleak. Job loss, high feed costs, families struggling to make ends meet, are just a few of the problems faced today. I could go on and on about who needs help where and just how bad things really are but that is not our job. Our commitment to animals and humans alike is simply that we are going to do our best to help (in our small way) where we are needed and to the best of our abilities. Thank you for stopping by and even considering helping someone in need.
Help for the Holidays Project 2008
This project will run from November 28th 2008 until December 20th 2008
Here's the deal..........................
1. From 11/28/08 to 12/20/08 we ask that you pick a favorite charity, local animal facility, your local food bank etc.
2. Give a donation. Any size it does not matter, even a couple of dollars helps because it all adds up.
3. Email us at loneoakfarms02@yahoo.com (make subject line DREAMWALKERS 2008)
4. Give us your info Name, Address, Amount of Donation and where you sent the donation
5. We will send you a handmade Dream Catcher, Car Hanger, or Key chain made by us right here at Lone Oak.
The larger your donation the larger your Dream Catcher will be. We can also send them as a gift to someone for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Holiday gift ect you just have to let us know where to send it.
Rules for donations-
1. Donate anything you want.
Example-Horses - blankets, bags of feed, hay, cash etc
Dogs and Cats- food bowls, food, etc
**Any animals count** If ferrets, hamsters, snakes need your help then GO FOR IT :)
2. Humans
Call or visit your local food banks, shelters, watch the news etc. find out what they need. Non perishable food items, blankets, coats, hats and scarves, money, toys, etc
